Job summary

Canteen is hiring a part-time Pantry Coordinator at our New York location. The role involves stocking and maintaining pantry supplies, ensuring timely distribution of food and beverages, and supporting client services.

Qualified candidates will have prior food service and customer service experience, with the ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods. This is a part-time position with morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintains office pantries by stocking beverages, snacks, coffee supplies, and other amenities to established inventory levels.

• Perform routine cleaning, sanitation, and basic maintenance of coffee and water equipment, coordinating repairs when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized storage area and manage inventory replenishment for uninterrupted service.

• Location: Invesco - 225 Liberty Street, New York, NY 10280. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Part time schedule. Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 11:00 am. Further details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous food service and customer service experience required.
• Pay Range: $19.00 per hour to $21.00 per hour.
• Additional Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Maintain office pantries by stocking beverages, snacks, coffee supplies, and other amenities to established inventory levels, ensuring products are organized, fully replenished, and presentation-ready.
  • Monitor inventory levels, rotate products using First In, First Out (FIFO) practices, inspect expiration dates, and properly store perishable items to maintain food safety and product quality.
  • Perform routine cleaning, sanitation, and basic maintenance of coffee and water equipment, troubleshooting minor issues and coordinating service repairs when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean, organized storage area while managing inventory replenishment to ensure adequate product availability and uninterrupted service for clients.

Job Summary

Summary: Responsible for food/beverage distribution from the pantry, pantry product inventory and offerings, and other related duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures all food or beverage is distributed from pantry in a timely fashion.
• Maintains and performs product inventory.
• Understands menu offerings.
• Creates, modifies, or closes individual sale checks via electronic tablet.
• Adheres to all safety and sanitation policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
