Job summary

California Pizza Kitchen in Honolulu, Hawaii, is seeking a Pantry Cook to join our energetic team. You will maintain the pantry station with top food quality and sanitation, ensuring timely prep of salads and desserts and supporting the line check process during each shift.

You will prepare all necessary items for your station, practice safe handling of culinary tools, and participate in opening/closing duties. We encourage teamwork and a positive dining experience at every guest interaction.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented guest service mindset required.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Comfort with multitasking in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards for food quality, sanitation, and pantry station upkeep.
• Ensure timely preparation of salads and desserts.
• Support line check process and complete prep sheets each shift.
• Prepare all necessary items for the pantry station as needed.
• Teach and practice safe/sanitary handling of cutting boards, counters, knives, and equipment.
• Keep equipment at proper temperatures and perform station opening/closing and side work tasks.
