Job description

Position Summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Panelboard Senior Associate – Aftermarket. Hours: Monday–Thursday 3:00pm–1:00am. Pay rate is $19.25 per hour; eligible for a variable incentive program. Salary is an estimate and will be adjusted based on experience and market.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Team Leader/Supervisor in driving key metrics of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity in the absence of the Team Leader.
  • Assist the manufacturing team to ensure customer orders are executed in a timely and efficient manner and that the most urgent orders are fulfilled first.
  • Review orders and associated documentation (drawings, travel documents, bills of material) to provide the team with required information and troubleshoot documentation issues.
  • Communicate professionally to provide updates on order status, resolve production issues, and promote teamwork across departments.
  • Utilize a computer to resolve errors through research and auditing of transactions.
  • Work on projects and special assignments as required; act as a self‑starter.
  • Receive, document, store, stage, and issue all job‑related material to satisfy production requirements.
  • Support customer service by maintaining acceptable order throughput and quick ships.
  • Package, create, and band equipment, parts, materials, products, and accessories to minimize damage and create a safe work environment; apply labels, stickers, and stencils for identification.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year assembly experience.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Bill of Materials (BOMs).
  • Experience operating hand tools and gauges.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without company sponsorship.
  • Candidate must be willing to obtain forklift certification; forklift experience is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Lean concepts.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Excel, Word, DMM, AS400, Mapics, Vista, and Outlook.

Additional Information

Expected to work with some degree of independence, make decisions that affect the workgroup, and focus efforts on attaining assigned goals and objectives.

Physical Demands

The employee must stand, walk, sit, reach at or above shoulder level, grip, and use hands to handle and feel; often walk, stoop, lift, carry, push, pull, and grip. Frequent lifting/carrying up to 35lb; pushing/pulling up to or greater than 35lb. Vision: far and close vision, depth perception, color discrimination. Hearing: listen and talk regularly.

Regular exposure to noise and dust.
