Job summary

Divcon is seeking a Wiring Technician to assemble and test control panels on the shop floor. You will read schematics, lay out components, and wire panels to meet project specifications for commercial and mission-critical applications.

You will perform testing, troubleshoot wiring issues, and uphold safety standards while collaborating with the Panel Shop Lead. This role supports general shop duties and material handling in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Fabricate and wire UL508 control panels from drawings and work instructions.
• Maintain quality, safety, and workmanship standards.

Responsibilities

• Build, assemble, and wire control panels using drawings and schematics.
• Layout components and mount them per project specs.
• Test panels to verify function and troubleshoot issues.
• Identify and communicate schematic discrepancies to the Panel Shop Lead.
• Monitor stock levels and support shop maintenance and cleanup.
