Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a skilled Wiring Tech to join our manufacturing team, building high-quality chillers for data centers. You will assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels according to schematics and specifications.

Shifts available Mon-Thur 5:00AM-3:00PM or 3:00PM-1:30AM; pay range $18.87-$22.22 with a $0.36 differential after 3:00PM. Candidates should have 1+ year experience in panel wiring and a strong focus on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in panel wiring or electrical assembly.
• Knowledge of pressure testing procedures, leak detection methods, and chiller systems is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools for electrical work.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to assemble control panels.
• Perform point-to-point wiring and component installation (breakers, relays, power supplies, PLCs).
• Route and secure wiring neatly ensuring proper function and safety compliance.
• Conduct quality checks and functional testing of panels before installation.
• Troubleshoot wiring or component issues to ensure proper operation.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and assembly teams to meet production deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area per company standards.
