Job summary

Aerotek in Houston is seeking a Wireman / Electrical Technician to assemble and wire custom control panels for water and wastewater systems. You will read blueprints, build panels, and perform start-ups, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure safe, reliable operation.

Work with 480V 3-phase, 230V 3-phase, and 120V, install Schneider components, and conduct QC checks in a small production team. This is a contract-to-hire, on-site role with a daytime schedule and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and wiring schematics.
• Wiring control panels from schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience assembling complex electrical panels in production settings.
• Ability to work with low and medium voltage power in panel builds.

Responsibilities

• Assemble custom and complex electrical control panel boxes for water and wastewater systems.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and wiring schematics to locate components.
• Install and mount panels and components using hand tools.
• Wire control panels point-to-point from schematics, ensuring neat and safe wiring.
