Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Panel Welder II for our Illinois facility. You will independently perform panel welding and fabrication, interpret welding symbols, and ensure welds meet prints, quality, and safety standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting components, using levels and measuring tools, finishing welds, and safely operating cranes and power tools. The role requires 3–5 years MIG welding experience and D1.3 certifications within 30 days of starting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• D1.3 14-gauge and D1.3 11-ga weld certifications within 30 days of starting position.
• 3–5 years MIG welding experience; 1 year in manufacturing.
• Must be able to read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform welding and fabrication responsibilities.
• Identify required parts and verify against fabrication prints.
• Interpret welding symbols on drawings and apply welds accordingly.
• Verify completed welds against fabrication prints.
• Use levels, squares, and measuring tools to verify alignment.
• Grind and finish welded components per print and workmanship requirements.
• Apply welding techniques for multiple material types and gauges.
• Safely operate cranes after required training.
• Maintain 5S and safety compliance.
