Job summary

Vertech is seeking a panel shop technician in the Phoenix, AZ area to assemble and wire control panels, mount devices, and modify panels to meet electrical standards. You will work with wiring, hardware, and control cabinets, using labeling and engraving equipment and operating automated machinery.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 2+ years in panel shop work, with Lean Six Sigma exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years experience in a panel shop.
• Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble control panels and mount devices.
• Panel modifications including drilling and tapping.
• Panel wiring including routing and bundling per electrical standards.
• Operate computerized wire labeling and engraving equipment.
• Operate automated machinery.

What You Need for this Position
