Job summary

Indicon LLC in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking a dependable Shipping Associate to prepare completed electrical control panels and related equipment for shipment, secure them on pallets, wrap and package, and load outbound deliveries safely.

This hands-on role ensures products arrive to customers in excellent condition and on schedule; you will work Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM, with potential overtime based on workload.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling environments.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Experience using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare completed electrical control panels and related equipment for shipment.
• Secure products to pallets and wrap/pack for safe transport.
• Load and unload trucks using proper material handling procedures.
• Verify shipments against packing lists and work orders.
• Inspect products and packaging for quality before shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area.
• Assist with inventory movement and warehouse organization as needed.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Communicate shipment status and issues to the Shipping Supervisor.
