Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Panel Insulator for 1st Shift in York, PA. Read specifications, assemble and insulate panels, install components, and document production activities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include using rivet guns and handheld welders, moving materials with a forklift, labeling panels, and upholding safety standards. Requires a high school diploma or GED and forklift license within 3 months. A competitive hourly wage and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma/GED and previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates an attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand basic instructions and communicate effectively.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Capable of following instructions and solving routine problems.
• Forklift license required (can be obtained within 3 months of hire).

• Disassemble and correct improperly assembled or damaged panels.
• Use rivet guns, air guns, knives, and handheld spot welders.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow.
• Follow all safety protocols and report unsafe conditions.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE
