Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Palm Springs, CA. You will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages, supported by a clinical team and competitive compensation.

The role requires CA licensure, current BLS (AHA/ARC), and a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology; CCC-SLP is preferred. 40 hours weekly, travel benefits included, and new grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license to practice in California
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology (preferred)
• CCC-SLP credential (preferred)
• Active licensure and eligibility for travel assignments

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across age groups.
• Design individualized therapy plans based on assessments and patient goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and track progress over time.
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed during therapy sessions.
