Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a superintendent role, preferably in custom home construction.
• Proven track record of completing projects from start to finish.
• Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, OSHA guidelines, and building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and specs.
• Proficient in scheduling and project management software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to make decisions in high-stress situations.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• CCM or equivalent certification would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of the project life cycle including quality control, site safety, and schedules.
• Coordinate and supervise all construction activities per the project plan.
• Direct field personnel to complete the project on schedule and within budget.
• Schedule and manage subcontractors, consultants, and vendors.
• Prepare, schedule, and supervise completion of a final punch list.
• Promote job site safety and rectify hazards immediately.
• Maintain an organized and clean job site and construction office.
• Ensure project documentation is accurate and compliant with policies and laws.
• Regularly communicate project progress and resolutions to stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
