Job summary

The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, Department of Internal Medicine, seeks open rank faculty to join the Division of Palliative Medicine in inpatient and outpatient settings.

The team includes physicians, NPs, social workers, chaplain, and Arts-in-Medicine. Candidates should have outstanding clinical and communication skills and a strong interest in education for learners of all levels.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency in a primary medical specialty and certification/eligibility in this primary medical specialty and/or subspecialty.
• Board certification/eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine by date of hire.

Responsibilities

• The interdisciplinary Palliative Care team cares for patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Work collaboratively on an IDT to provide comprehensive care to diverse patient populations.
• Demonstrate a strong interest in Palliative Care education for learners at all levels and backgrounds.
