Overview

Minnesota Oncology is seeking a full-time BC/BE Palliative Care Physician for a robust practice in its Twin Cities West Metro locations, particularly Edina and Maple Grove. Minnesota Oncology is a multi-disciplinary private physician-led medical group specializing in hematology and oncology with more than 130 providers in medical oncology, radiation oncology, gynecology oncology, plastic surgery, breast surgery, colorectal surgery, and thoracic surgery; serving in 16 clinic locations across the Twin Cities metro area and Hudson, Wisconsin. This position offers a comprehensive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities
  • The Palliative Care Physician will be responsible for direct outpatient palliative medicine in a clinic setting. No on call or weekends are required.
  • Minnesota Oncology has an established, interdisciplinary palliative care team. The team includes APPs, a physician Director of Palliative Care, registered nurses, and a spiritual care provider.
  • Our practice boasts a strong collaborative environment and support from a multi-disciplinary team of physicians and physician leaders.
  • Minnesota Oncology maintains strong relationships with other private medical groups and hospital systems in the Twin Cities and has an excellent reputation as a referral center for patients in the Twin Cities metro area and outlying communities.
  • Opportunities are available for leadership growth and for research through Metro-Minnesota Community Oncology Research Consortium and The US Oncology Network if desired.
Qualifications
  • Board certified/eligible in internal medicine/family practice and palliative care. Experience preferred.
  • Minnesota state licensure or ability to obtain prior to start date.

Salary Range: $240,000 to $275,000 annual
