Job summary

Lee Health in Fort Myers, FL, seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) to join the Palliative Care team. This hospital-based position is integrated into a multidisciplinary team with physician and social work support, using EPIC EHR and Dragon Dictation.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday with occasional weekend coverage; travel to additional Lee Health locations may be required based on census. Florida licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified APRN or PA required.
• Active Florida license or ability to obtain before start.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital-based palliative care within a multidisciplinary team.
• Utilize EPIC EHR and Dragon Dictation in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday with occasional weekend coverage.
• May cover other Lee Health locations based on census.

Lee Health is looking for Advanced Practice Providers that are passionate about Hospice and Palliative Care to join our team!

The organization has four acute care hospitals and one specialty hospital that together house over 1,800 hospital beds.

Position Information:

Lee Physician Group is looking for an experienced Palliative Care Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (APRNs) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our busy growing practices in Fort Myers. We have a long established Palliative Care program that is integrated into the health system. It will be hospital-based care as part of a multidisciplinary team with physician and medical social work support. EPIC EHR and Dragon Dictation for both inpatient and outpatient settings.

• Full-Time, Monday-Friday
• Covering 1-2 weekend days a month; service is 7 days a week
• Will have dedicated location but may be asked to cover other locations based on census
• EPIC EHR and Dragon Dictation for both inpatient and outpatient settings

Qualifications:

• Board Certified APRN or PA
• Active license in the state of Florida (or ability to obtain this license prior to start)
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
• Experience working in palliative care required
