Job summary

CANPACK Group is seeking a dedicated palletizer operator to set up and run palletizing machinery, ensuring cans meet quality and process standards on the production line.

Responsibilities include operating equipment daily, maintaining equipment condition, recording quality observations, and collaborating with supervisors and teammates to optimize throughput and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical degree preferred.
• Previous experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
• Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, and focus adjustments.

• Observe and keep records of any quality issues.
• Supplies loading equipment with empty pallets.
• Report any issues with the technical condition of the machine to supervisor.
• Assist with the control of production and quality specification.
• Have responsibility for any assigned equipment.
• Co-operate with supervisor and other workers as part of a team and production line.
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of systems, including performing internal audits as required.
• Perform any other duty reasonably corresponding with the role.

Position Summary

Set up and operate a palletizer machine to maintain good quality of cans produced (within the specified quality and technological parameters).

Ensure smooth operations of production machinery and maintain them in an appropriate technical condition.

Essential Functions/Key Deliverables

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy and organization.
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Ability to function both independently and as part of a team; must be flexible and excited to grow with the organization
