Job summary

Altium Packaging in Oil City, Pennsylvania is seeking a Palletizer Operator on 2nd shift (2:30pm-11:00pm) to maintain and troubleshoot palletizer and downstream equipment, ensure GMPs, and support safe, efficient production.

You will assemble materials, clear jams, adjust equipment, report malfunctions, and complete daily production and inspection reports while working overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot palletizer and downstream equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and GMP requirements.
• Assemble and position raw materials required to operate the palletizer (e.g. slip sheets, top frames, strap lines, etc.).
• Operate palletizer machine and ensure efficient flow of product.
• Oversee the operation of shrink-wrap machine.
• Clear bottle jams and correct process problems.
• Adjust equipment and report malfunctions to maintenance personnel.
• Changeover equipment, parts and materials to support varied products.
• Inspect finished product and report quality issues.
• Remove scrap bottles and damaged material for regrinding.
• Complete daily production & inspection reports.
• Other duties.
• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
