• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Coordinate trailer moves within yard management system.
• Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress.
• Communicate directly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager regularly.

Overview

As a Pallet Sorter, you’ll get to hand sort pallets within a distribution facility and ensure high levels of safety and cleanliness. This is the perfect role for someone looking to maintain high levels of activity and it is vital to the success of our customers’ production!

Hourly Pay: $17.00/hr

Shift(s): 3rd Shift Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday - 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM; 4th Shift Monday, Thursday, Sat, Sun 3:30pm - 2am.

Location: Opelousas, LA

Working Conditions

Ability to work in extreme conditions including heat, cold, and air particulate; repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths; noise level in the work environment is dependent on location; Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection mandatory at several locations, safety shoes); specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and color vision; employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 70 pounds.
