Job summary

GDI, Inc. is hiring for a pallet sorter at our Indianapolis, IN facility. The role involves using pallet-handling equipment and manual sorting to organize pallets to company and client standards, with duties to keep the sorting area clean and orderly.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM. Candidates must pass Infomart background and basic drug screenings, be able to lift 35+ lbs, and wear steel-toe safety shoes. Forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must undergo a basic drug screening.
• Must be able to lift 35+ lbs.
• Fork-lift experience is desired but not required.
• Steel-toe safety shoes required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sort pallets.
• Empty trailers and load sorted pallets.
• Clear, sweep, and organize areas including janitorial cleaning.
• Operate pallet-handling equipment to sort pallets by standards.

This role will use pallet-handling equipment in addition to manual manipulation to effectively sort and organize pallets according to company and client standards. You will also be responsible for managing the pallet sorting area ensuring that it is clean and orderly.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday @ 3:00PM - 11:30PM
• Clean and sort pallets
• Empty trailers and load sorted pallets
• Clear, sweep, and organize areas including Janitorial cleaning
