Job summary

Relogistics, part of the largest pallet-management company in North America, is seeking a Pallet Sorter in Logan Township, NJ. You will hand sort pallets in a distribution facility, maintain safety and cleanliness, and stay active throughout your shift.

The 2nd Shift runs Tuesday through Friday, 6:00 pm to 4:00 am, at $20 per hour. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED and strong communication skills; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights.
• Load and unload materials from trailers by hand.
• Move pallets, or materials on pallets or in crates, around the distribution center.
• Check loads to make sure they are secure.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Coordinate trailer moves within the yard management system.
• Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress.
• Communicate directly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager regularly.

• Ability to work overtime when needed

Working Conditions

• Ability to work in extreme conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.)
• Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths
• Noisy work environment dependent on location
• Personal protective equipment required (eye, ear protection, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required (close vision, distance vision, color vision)
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
