Job summary

Fidelis Logistics is seeking a hands-on Pallet Quality Inspector to ensure pallets meet CHEP quality standards and to coach the team on defect reduction. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and accountability in daily inspections and documentation.

You will audit pallets, record defects, and stay current with quality criteria while maintaining a clean, compliant work environment. A true team player with good communication will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control or inspection (pallet manufacturing or repair preferred).
• Ability to lift and inspect pallets (75-85 lbs.).
• Sharp attention to detail - spot defects and ensure consistency.
• Strong documentation and communication skills - record inspections & coach team members.

Responsibilities

• Inspect repaired & sorted pallets to ensure CHEP quality standards.
• Audit and document pallet defects, identifying and segregating rejects by builder.
• Record inspections, defects, and details on Daily Pallet Audit Form.
• Coach pallet builders to improve overall quality and compliance.
• Stay up to date on CHEP pallet quality criteria to ensure standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
