The role involves moving pallets of raw materials or product between coolers/storage and the production area, ensuring cleanliness, and maintaining GMP standards. Ideal candidates will be able to recognize product variety, inspect for defects, and report abnormal situations to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Moves pallets of raw material or product between cooler or storage area and the production line.
• Must recognize and distinguish between different products / raw materials.
• Maintains clean work area.
• Picks up boxes that have fallen and places them on a pallet for removal.
• Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with plant GMP policies.
• Physically inspect products for both natural occurring and processing defects.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their immediate supervisor or plant management official.
• Abnormal situation would be:
• Unauthorized employees in restricted areas
• Situation where a belief that product adulteration may be occurring
• Equipment malfunction that may put product wholesomeness at stake
