Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Illinois is seeking a pallet jack handler to assemble customer orders, move products, and ensure accurate inventory in a safe environment. Training will cover equipment use, safety protocols, and company policies.

After a 4-5 week training program, pay converts to an uncapped hourly rate with potential earnings. The schedule includes weekends; on-the-job training is provided, and full benefits are available as part of Lineage’s compensation package.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.
• Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language.
• Ability to give voice commands in English may be required
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing PPE
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends

Responsibilities

• Use pallet jack equipment to assemble customer orders following safety standards.
• Perform pre-use inspection on pallet jack equipment
• Mark materials with identifying information
• Open boxes and other containers when necessary
• Record quantity of material to update inventory
• Arrange stock parts in order for assembly
• Communicate damaged products to inventory or lead/supervisor
