Job summary

CHEP is seeking a Pallet Assembly Operator on the Temple, TX team. This role focuses on assembling pallet components, maintaining quality, and adhering to safety standards in a manufacturing setting.

The position runs 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 4:30pm–1:00am, with a base rate of $20.25/hour plus a $0.75/hour shift differential. Full benefits start on day one, with PTO after 90 days and a 401(k) match up to 4%.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble pallet components (top or bottom deck) with precision and in collaboration with teammates.
  • Perform visual quality inspections to identify defects and ensure pallet integrity.
  • Follow safety protocols, maintain clean work area, and wear PPE.
  • Collaborate with the assembly line to troubleshoot and ensure smooth operations.
