Job summary

Intralox, L.L.C. is hiring a Palantir Foundry engineer to design and maintain data pipelines, onboard data sources, and extend our Ontology. You will implement business logic with Palantir Functions, integrate AI workflows, and build operator-facing apps across manufacturing and service teams.

The role requires strong Python and TypeScript skills, production coding standards, and experience owning pipelines in a globally distributed setting. English fluency is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines in Palantir Pipeline Builder and Code Repositories using Python, PySpark, and SQL.
  • Onboard new enterprise data sources such as ERP, CRM, and machine controllers through Palantir Data Connection.
  • Define and uphold data quality standards, monitoring, and lineage visibility across our platform.
  • Develop and expand our Ontology in Ontology Manager by creating object types, links, and action types aligned to our business model.
  • Build customized Workshop or Web applications for operators and business users across manufacturing, commercial, and service teams.
  • Implement business logic through Palantir Functions and integrate it cleanly with the Ontology.
  • Collaborate with Palantir developers and internal stakeholders to design reusable, scalable use cases.
  • Integrate AI models and AIP Logic into operational workflows to support AI-assisted decision-making.
  • Build analysis workflows in Code Workbook or Code Workspaces for data science and predictive modeling use cases.
  • Support analysts in creating repeatable dashboards and reports in Contour and Quiver.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and people managers to scope and prioritize use cases.
  • Contribute to platform governance standards with our Digital Technologies core team.
  • Mentor and guide team members as they develop their Palantir skills.
  • Participate in a globally distributed team.

Job description

Requirements
Must have:
  • A bachelors degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 2 years of hands-on Palantir Foundry development experience, including pipelines, Ontologies, or applications
  • Proficiency in at least two of these tools: Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories (Python/Spark), Workshop, Ontology Manager, AIP Logic, or Slate
  • Strong production coding skills in Python and working knowledge of TypeScript
  • Familiarity with engineering best practices, including Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and logging
  • Demonstrated success delivering end-to-end Palantir solutions, from data onboarding to user-facing applications
  • Experience owning data pipelines after deployment, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in production
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfort working independently in a globally distributed, asynchronous environment
  • Professional fluency in English
Preferred:
  • experience with Palantir AIP, including model integration, AIP Logic, and AI-assisted workflow design
  • background knowledge in manufacturing, industrial operations, supply chain, or logistics
  • experience with Code Workbook or Code Workspaces for Python-or R-based data science and machine learning workflows
  • experience performing multiple Palantir roles within one engagement, such as data engineer and app builder
  • familiarity with platform administration, security markings, or Foundry data governance tools
  • prior experience helping scale a Palantir practice in an enterprise organization
