Job summary

Vivid Resourcing seeks a Palantir Foundry Engineer to support a healthcare customer’s data and analytics team in building enterprise-grade data products on Foundry.

You will design pipelines, ontology models, and dashboards, integrate healthcare data from diverse sources, and collaborate with data engineers, product managers and healthcare SMEs in an Agile environment to deliver scalable Foundry solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software/data engineering with 1–2+ years on Palantir Foundry.
• Strong Foundry Pipeline Builder and Ontology experience.
• Hands-on Python, PySpark and SQL, plus data integration.

Job description

We are looking for a Palantir Foundry Engineer to join a healthcare customer’s data and analytics team, supporting the development of enterprise-grade data products and operational applications on Palantir Foundry.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain Palantir Foundry data pipelines using Pipeline Builder, Python and/or PySpark.
• Develop and maintain Ontology models, including object types, properties, link types and Actions.
• Build operational applications and dashboards using Workshop, Contour and/or Slate.
• Integrate data from healthcare and enterprise source systems into Foundry.
• Develop data transformations, ingestion workflows and data quality processes.
• Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Foundry solutions.
• Support AIP / AI-enabled workflows where applicable.
• Implement data validation, lineage, governance and security best practices.
• Troubleshoot pipeline and application issues and support production deployments.
• Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, architects and healthcare SMEs in an Agile environment.
• Help establish reusable Foundry development standards and best practices.

Required Experience:

• 3+ years of software/data engineering experience, with at least 1–2+ years of hands‑on Palantir Foundry experience.
• Strong experience with Foundry Pipeline Builder and Ontology.
• Hands‑on Python, PySpark and SQL experience.
• Experience building production data pipelines and enterprise data products.
• Experience with Foundry Workshop, Contour, Slate or similar application tooling.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT, APIs and data integration.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and translating requirements into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile development and CI/CD practices.

Preferred:

• Healthcare, payer, provider, life sciences or health‑tech experience.
• Experience working with EHR/EMR, claims, clinical, provider, member or healthcare operations data.
• Experience with FHIR, HL7, Epic, Cerner or similar healthcare systems.
• Experience with Palantir AIP, OSDK, TypeScript or React.
• Experience implementing Foundry solutions in production.
