Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Palantir Data Engineer to design and operate scalable data pipelines in Foundry, using Python, PySpark, and TypeScript to unlock insights from complex datasets.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and participate in Agile processes with Jira. A Bachelor’s degree and eligibility for a Public Trust are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a professional technical environment.
• 1+ years of experience with Palantir Foundry and its applications, including Code Repository, Ontology Manager, and Workshop.
• Experience developing and maintaining data pipelines using Python and PySpark and applying software engineering and data engineering principles in enterprise environments
• Experience integrating, transforming, and managing large datasets from multiple data sources
• Experience translating business and customer requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments and tracking work using tools such as Jira
• Knowledge of fundamental programming principles, data structures, APIs, or web development concepts
• Ability to work take ownership and work independently to solve complex data challenges
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows within Palantir Foundry using Python, PySpark, TypeScript, and related technologies.

You Have:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
