Job summary

Lake Region Trailer LLC in Chippewa Falls, WI is seeking a skilled production painter to perform surface preparation, sanding, masking, priming, and painting on trailers and truck equipment. You will inspect finishes, touch up as needed, and help install wiring components as part of the manufacturing process.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 2–3 years of painting experience in manufacturing, and the ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.

• 2-3 years painting experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Basic electrical wiring knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Surface preparation, sanding, masking, and priming; applying paints and primer.
• Inspecting finished products and completing touch-ups; maintaining painting equipment and work area.
• Installing and testing wiring and electrical components.
• Reading wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Supporting trailer assembly and production processes.
• Operating hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and shop equipment safely.

What You'll Do

• Surface preparation, sanding, masking, and priming; mixing and applying paints and primer
• Inspecting finished products and completing touch-ups; maintaining painting equipment and work area
• Installing and testing wiring and electrical components
• Reading wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Supporting trailer assembly and production processes
• Operating hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and shop equipment safely

What You Bring To The Team

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2-3 years of painting experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
• Basic electrical wiring knowledge
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements of the Job

This position requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, gripping, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Work is performed in a production environment with paint materials, tools, equipment, moderate noise levels, and required safety procedures.
