Job summary

Alpha Paint & Body in Broken Arrow, OK is seeking a Painter's Assistant to support our Paint Department. You will assist with vehicle preparation, maintain tools and supplies, and help ensure high-quality workmanship throughout the reconditioning process.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous automotive, body shop, or paint preparation experience is preferred but not required.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to follow directions and work efficiently in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Painter with daily operations and vehicle preparation.
  • Wash, clean, sand, tape, mask, and prepare vehicles for paint.
  • Move vehicles between the paint area, service department, and dealership lot.
  • Restock paint trailer supplies and notify management when inventory is running low.
  • Support the Sales and Service Departments by assisting with paint corrections and touch-ups.
  • Clean and maintain paint equipment, tools, and work areas daily.
  • Remove trash and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Communicate daily with the Inventory Team regarding vehicle reconditioning priorities.
