Job summary

Surface Experts is seeking skilled technicians who take pride in their craft and enjoy solving problems for customers. This role involves hands-on surface repair work across floors, countertops, bathtubs, and more, with a fast-growing, family-owned team.

You will work on-site with different clients, complete work orders, and provide excellent customer service while documenting progress in our mobile apps. Training culminates in a competitive hourly rate with bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with your hands in construction, manufacturing, painting, or auto body work.
• Experience in facilities maintenance a plus.
• Ability to identify, compare, and recreate colors; color matching skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• On the jobsite for 2+ customers daily.
• Complete work orders, customer service, and follow-ups.
• Work with a variety of customers across industries (Property Management, Hotels, Movers, Builders).
• Display world-class customer service and communicate progress in mobile apps.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

In the Field Daily

• On the jobsite for 2 or more customers daily
• Complete work orders, customer service, and follow‑ups
• Working for a variety of customers in different industries including Property Management, Hotels, Movers, Builders, etc.

Customer Service and Communication

• Display world‑class customer service for residents, building owners/managers, and others
• Track and document work progress in our mobile apps
• Communicate with support team and peers regularly

Follow Repair Process

• Understand and utilize our processes
• Employ each tool in your custom tool‑kit
• Problem‑solve repairs with creativity

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with your hands - This could be in construction, manufacturing, painting, or auto body work
• Experience working in facilities maintenance can be a big plus, but is not required
• An ability to identify, compare, and recreate colors - Understanding color and how to match color is a large part of what we do. An art background is helpful, but not necessary.
• Willingness to commit to learning new skills that may take months to master.

Compensation: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour once fully trained
