Cole’s Flea Market in Pearland, TX is seeking a dependable Painter/Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance and Site Services team. This hands-on role requires prepping surfaces, painting, color matching, and basic repairs across buildings, stands, offices, warehouses, and equipment.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; must be 18+ with four years related experience, valid driver’s license, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Four years of painting, construction, facilities maintenance, or related experience.
• Knowledge of surface preparation, paint application, color matching, and general repairs.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic digital work-order platforms.
• Dependable, organized, and able to solve problems independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drywall, wood, metal, and other surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, and priming.
• Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and airless spray equipment.
• Mix and match paint colors, finishes, and textures.
• Protect floors, fixtures, windows, and surrounding areas before beginning work.
• Complete painting, touch-ups, and general upkeep throughout buildings, food stands, offices, warehouses, seller spaces, carts, rides, and fencing.
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and general maintenance projects.
• Safely operate hand and power tools, pressure washers, ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts.
• Track work orders, log hours, and communicate project updates.
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE use and hazardous material disposal.
