Job summary

Henderson Products, Inc. in Manchester, IA is seeking a Painter to set up and operate painting equipment, mix and apply paint to components and finished units. The role requires reading blueprints, shop math, and knowledge of steel types.

You will work the day shift, 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a 20-minute paid lunch, and contribute to a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities include operating spray equipment, surface preparation, and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and perform shop math accurately.
• Set up and operate machines listed in the job description.
• Understand weld inspection processes.
• Identify steel types and gauges.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade school training (2,000 hours) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate painting equipment and apply paint to parts and assemblies.
• Prepare surfaces and mix paints as required.

DAY SHIFT - 5:00AM to 3:00PM - 20-minute paid lunch

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE: Painters are responsible for the set-up and operation of the following equipment: cup gun, air-assisted airless gun, Hydra-Cat mixing equipment. Painters are also responsible for mixing and applying paint to component parts and finished units. Painters may be assigned other related duties other than those herein specified.
