Responsibilities

• Select premixed paints, or mix required portions of pigment, oil, and thinning substances.
• Paint surfaces primarily with a spray gun and maintain spray equipment.
• Maintain a clean work area, tools, and equipment.

Job Description

This is a Temp-to-Hire position!

We are looking for a candidate the has the ability and experience to apply coats of paint, varnish andenamel to various types of materials. This person should be well rounded and understand the generaloperation of a paint shop and custom painting.

Duties

• Reads and interprets work orders from supervisor regarding painting.
• Prepare surfaces for painting such as sanding, cleaning, and smoothing.
• Selects premixed paints, or mixes required portions of pigment, oil, and thinning
• Drying substances to prepare paint that matches specified colors.
• Paints surfaces primarily with a spray gun.
• Continuously cleans and maintains spray equipment.
• Maintain clean work area, tools, and equipment.
