Job summary

Sandvik Mining is hiring a Painter in Brier Hill, PA to produce high-quality finishes on mining components. You will follow work instructions, prepare parts, apply paint, and label finished pieces for sub-jobs while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED and 3+ years with industry equipment. The role requires lifting, standing, and shift work with overtime as needed to meet delivery targets.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience with industry specific equipment.
• Must be able to lift, carry, bend, kneel, climb, stand for extended periods, and safely use tools and service equipment.

Responsibilities

As the Painter, you are responsible for:

• Follows instructions of work within time constraints to meet established delivery targets.
• Adjusts equipment and repairs/replaces defective parts components or systems per instructions.
• Inspects equipment for proper performance and determines faults and malfunctions.
• Identifies additional repairs, compiles parts and labor estimates.

Minimum Requirements:

• H.S Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience with industry specific equipment
• Must be able to lift, carry, bend, kneel, climb, stand for extended periods, and safely use tools and service equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety, customer service, teamwork, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement.
• You must be able to follow instructions and complete work in a safe and timely manner
• The flexibility to conduct shift work is also required
• Overtime is required as needed

Compensation Range: $20.02/hr
