Job summary

Kewaunee Fabrications, part of Oshkosh Corporation, is seeking a Paint Technician for 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM). The role involves coating prep, painting, and equipment maintenance on a major fabrication line in Wisconsin.

Starting pay is $26.75/hour with $1.00 shift premium for 2nd/3rd shifts. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, HSA, life/disability, 401(k) with match and pension, PTO and holidays, stock purchase program, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read and write.
• One to three years of painting experience.
• Must pass a physical exam for respirator use.
• Must be able to enter confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, apply, and verify coatings per specifications.
• Ensure substrates are clean and free of contaminants.
• Mix and apply coatings according to requirements.
• Adjust paint/dry times based on humidity and temperature.
• Repair coating defects to a high standard of finish.
• Maintain equipment and cleanliness of the workstation.
• Complete required paperwork and quality documentation.
