Job summary

Gorbel, Inc. is hiring for a Third Shift Painter to prepare materials and paint components using automated and handheld equipment to meet specifications.

You will set up paint systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality finishes while following safety and environmental policies. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent painting experience and the ability to operate forklifts and cranes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 2 years of industrial painting experience preferred.
• Able to obtain truck and crane certification with training upon hire.
• Proficient with MS Windows, Word, Excel and related programs.
• Able to use hand tools requiring dexterity.
• Ability to climb portable ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain paint operating systems, portable spray systems and equipment.
• Produce high-quality painted components using dry enamel or equivalent products.
• Inspect workmanship prior to painting and correct defects as needed.
• Handle materials with forklifts and overhead cranes as required.
• Follow all policies regarding paint handling and hazardous waste; manage related documents.
