Wastequip is seeking an Industrial Painter to support our Winamac, IN facility. This full-time position offers benefits including health insurance, 401K, paid vacation/sick time, and more.

The painter will operate an airless spray system to apply protective/decorative coatings to machines and surfaces. Ideal candidates have minimal formal education and limited experience but can perform surface prep, coating application, color mixing, and spray equipment maintenance in a fast-paced production

Qualificações

• Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training/ or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Applies masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated
• Fills cavities and dents with putty to attain smooth surface
• Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce desired color
• Pours coating liquid into spray container and connects gun to air hose
• Turns sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray
• Pulls trigger and directs spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish coat
• Coats areas inaccessible to hand sprayer with brush
• Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent
• Heats and sprays wax onto products after they are tested
• Removes rust from metal with acid, wire brush, or steel wool

Job Description:

Wastequip is recruiting for an Industrial Painter to support the Winamac, IN location. The ideal Candidate should be familiar with using an airless paint finishing system in a fast-paced production environment, where they will spray surfaces of machines, manufactured products, or working area with protective/decorative material such as paint, enamel, glaze, gel-coat, or lacquer.

Pay: $20.46
