Job summary

Quality Painting LLC is seeking a skilled Painter to join our team in St Clair County, MI. You will prepare surfaces, apply paints, stains, and finishes to interior and exterior spaces, and work on projects that showcase craftsmanship.

Candidates should have experience in residential or commercial painting, familiarity with surface prep techniques, and the ability to work safely from ladders and scaffolding. A reliable driver’s license is a plus and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential or commercial painting preferred.
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and painting materials.
• Ability to work safely at heights using ladders and scaffolding.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting including cleaning, sanding, scraping, and patching.
• Apply paint, stain, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Select and mix paints and coatings to match color specifications.
• Set up and safely operate ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment.
• Apply caulking, sealants, and primers as needed before painting.
• Protect floors, furniture, and fixtures with drop cloths and masking tape.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site throughout each project.
