Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Minimum 1 year of assembly experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on soldering experience with small, detailed components.
  • Experience performing fine paint touch-up or cosmetic surface finishing on parts.
  • Experience working with adhesives, epoxies, or bonding materials.
  • Experience with adhesives or epoxies and bonding materials.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints and work instructions.
  • Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and solder small electrical components according to work instructions.
  • Mix, apply, and cure epoxies and adhesives.
  • Perform detailed paint touch-up to correct surface defects.
  • Visually inspect finished parts for color consistency and quality.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area and follow procedures.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Comply with DG safety procedures and policies as directed by the Facility Engineer/Safety Director.

Position Overview:

Dayton-Granger, Inc. We're looking for a detail-oriented Paint Touch Up & Electromechanical Assembler to join our team full-time! This role combines small-part assembly, light soldering, adhesive bonding, and fine paint touch-up to ensure our products meet both functional and cosmetic aerospace standards. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and solder small electrical components according to work instructions and technical drawings

  • Mix, apply, and cure epoxies and adhesives using taping, fixturing, and oven processes

  • Remove masking materials and perform detailed paint touch-up to correct surface defects, ensuring parts meet cosmetic and workmanship standards prior to quality inspection

  • Visually inspect finished parts for color consistency, surface quality, and detail accuracy

  • Operate hand tools, soldering irons, and basic measuring/testing equipment

  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety and quality procedures

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

  • Comply with all DG safety procedures and policies as directed by the Facility Engineer/Safety Director

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Minimum 1 year of assembly experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Minimum 1 year of hands‑on soldering experience with small, detailed components
