Job summary

PRO-Dig, Llc in Elwood, KS is seeking a dedicated Painter to prep materials and spray paint to meet cosmetic standards. You will load/unload racks and coordinate with shifts to maintain smooth workflow under a shop foreman.

The role includes training less experienced workers, backing up for high-demand orders, and covering vacations. A focus on safety and teamwork is essential for daily production targets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Drug screening and background check required.
• Experience in a team environment a plus.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Able to be trained to run press and paint booth equipment.
• Able to be trained to operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Standing for long periods and bending/squatting.

Responsibilities

• Lifting up to 50lbs on a repetitive basis.
• Utilizing fork lifts and cranes for parts over 50lbs.
• Load and unload materials utilizing cranes and/ or fork trucks as needed.
• Produce parts safely while meeting quality specifications.
• Maintain Paint Booth and Equipment.
• Mix and spray paint.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment.
• Use hand tools to deburr parts; meet daily time requirements.
• Train, guide, and educate other employees in Paint Booth.
• Work in a team environment and be flexible to move between jobs to support the schedule.
• Assist other shop personnel in daily duties when directed.
• Housekeeping responsibilities when not actively involved in production.
