Job summary

Surge is seeking a hands-on Paint Technician/Paint Assistant to support the Maintenance Manager with the daily operation and maintenance of our paint system in an industrial environment.

This role involves monitoring paint levels, changing filters, performing basic machine operation, and assisting with general equipment maintenance to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Must be able to work Monday–Friday with mandatory overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Manager with daily paint system operations and maintenance.
• Monitor paint levels and refill paint as needed.
• Change machine filters and perform routine equipment checks.
• Inspect equipment to ensure machines are operating properly.
• Assist with troubleshooting basic equipment issues.
• Operate machinery and paint system equipment as directed.
• Use basic hand tools to perform maintenance and support tasks.
• Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of the work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and operating guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 4:30 PM-1:00 AM
Overtime: Mandatory overtime as needed

The Paint Technician / Paint Assistant will monitor the paint system, maintain proper paint levels, change machine filters, perform basic machine operation, and assist with general equipment maintenance to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Work Environment

Candidates should be comfortable working on their feet and performing physical, hands-on tasks throughout the workday.
