Job summary

FNA Group in Decatur, AR is seeking a Paint Support teammate to assist in the production of powder-coated components for finished goods assembly. Responsibilities include unboxing, loading fixtures, assisting in blasting and coating equipment, performing visual inspections, and maintaining paint equipment and booths.

Safety and quality are emphasized in this hands-on role. Position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and basic mechanical skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Powder coating experience is desirable but not required.
• Experience in a production environment is a plus.
• Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus.

Paint Support

Primary Purpose:

Assists in the production of powder-coated components for the assembly of finished goods.

Job Description:

• Unboxes components from storage containers
• Loads and unloads parts or product onto fixtures
• Assists the Painter, as needed, in the operation of blasting and coating equipment
• Performs visual inspections to ensure that all components are produced/coated efficiently, and are consistent with company established goals for quality and productivity
• Performs cleaning and maintenance services to paint equipment/booth according to recommended specifications
• Safely operates paint equipment, hand tools and measuring tools, such as micrometers and calipers
• Assists in other areas of operation, as needed, to provide support during absences or shortages of staff

Other Duties as Assigned:

Other duties could include working in other areas to provide support during absences/shortage of staff.

Working Conditions:

Position requires extensive walking, standing and/or climbing; lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to move or transfer products with an overhead crane and lift up to 50 lbs. Work will be performed around machinery with moving parts, moving objects or vehicles; exposure to heat, cold, dampness, humidity, slippery and uneven surfaces. Follow and adhere to all company safety policies and regulations.
