Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in paint applications is a plus; Pretreatment and E-Coat desired.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is desired.
• Flexible individual capable of adapting to changing priorities; strong interpersonal & organizational skills.
• Computer skills essential, including Microsoft Office suite; automotive industry experience a plus.
• PV-45 internal requirement completed for internal employees.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the technical and disciplinary lead of the group.
• Oversees, organizes, and coordinates all work content; motivates and develops team members.
• Manages flow of communication to team and management.
• Drives continuous improvement for production processes, efficiency, quality, environment and ergonomics.
• Identifies trouble areas and resolves issues.
• Administers company policies and procedures.
• Manages personnel: evaluations, coaching, resource planning and team building.
• Coordinates schedules and workflow; plans vacations, shifts and qualifications.
• Prepares reports and presents findings to management.
• Leads meetings; participates in project management and shop involvement.
