Job summary

Aerotek in Lake Crystal, MN is seeking a Paint Prep Laborer to prepare vehicles for painting by assembling and disassembling, sanding and scuffing, and performing daily maintenance on painting equipment.

You will operate spray guns for bed liner applications and follow detailed work orders throughout the shift in a fast-paced, onsite shop environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of prior paint prep experience.
• Experience with paint prep, painting, mechanical assembly, and use of spray guns.

Responsibilities

Work Environment

Work in a large job shop with multiple buildings and garages, similar to a truck dealership. Collaborate with painters, mechanics, and installers in a fast-paced environment. Your duties will include painting, fabricating, installing, welding, and interacting with customers in our showroom. Some responsibilities will take you outside to test equipment. Uniforms are supplied, and the facility includes 3 paint booths, a sand blasting station, and mechanical/fabrication station where work is conducted on big municipal trucks, dump trucks, and large semi-trucks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Crystal, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
