Job summary

Owens Corning in Mesquite, TX is seeking a production associate to read and evaluate tickets, load components onto the conveyor, and assist in the paint department. Responsibilities include inspecting slabs for defects, cleaning components with acetone, applying adhesion promoter, staging material for the spray booth, and ensuring timely completion of orders

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; preferred not required.
• Previous work experience in production environment preferred.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Inspect slabs for defects.
• Use acetone to clean components prior to painting.
• Apply adhesion promoter to Lite Frames before painting.
• Stage material for spray booth per orders.
• Load/convey materials to support production and meet ticket dates.
• Remove prepped slabs from conveyor for packaging.
• Maintain safe lifting practices and PPE.
• Keep work area organized and maintain safety SOPs.
