Job summary

Robinson, Inc. is seeking a Painting/Powder Coating Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and coordinate production activities through direct supervision.

You will prioritize tasks, train team members, and ensure timely completion of work orders while meeting client requirements. Responsibilities include managing material flow, improving processes, and supporting continuous production in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and team performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• 5–10 years in painting/powder coating or manufacturing desired.
• Strong leadership, training, and team coordination abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication across levels.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily scheduling and lead hourly staff to execute production plans.
• Interpret and relay work orders, drawings, and materials lists in collaboration with operations and logistics.
• Set clear expectations, track hours, manage productivity, and reduce rework.
• Enforce safety standards and work with EHS to meet OSHA regulations.
• Oversee inventory, material flow, and ERP accuracy; ensure timely moves between centers.
• Identify process improvements and lead LEAN and 6S initiatives.
• Train, coach, and cross-train staff; provide feedback and corrective action.
