Job summary

Behr Paint Company is seeking a Paint Mixer/Tinter in the United States to prepare color-matched paints according to customer orders. You will operate tint equipment, verify color accuracy, and document each step from loading bases to palletizing finished products for shipment.

The role emphasizes color vision, safety, and teamwork. A high school diploma or GED is required, with opportunities to grow from operator roles into other Behr roles as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to see color and notice minor color differences.
• Excellent attendance. Tinters are the most vital part of this operation.

• Physical ability. You will be on your feet for the entire shift. You’ll be lifting individual paint cans or sometimes full cases of 4 cans, which can weigh up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate tint machine and verify color accuracy against orders.
• Log workload and pull bases from the warehouse using an electric pallet jack.
• Follow formulas via computer to fulfill orders for exact color matches.
• Verify colors after tinting and wrap pallets for shipment.
• Print out BOL and transport pallets to designated shipment location.

Job description

To thrive as a Paint Mixer/Tinter, you must be able to see color andhave the ability toread and follow work orders. You will be successful in this role if you are self-motivated, like repetitivefast pacedtasks while having the ability tomaintainquality.

Your shift will start by ensuring your tint machine is ready for use, logging in to see the assigned workload, andutilizingan electric pallet jack to pull paint bases from the warehouse.Then you will use the computer to carefully follow formulas to fulfill assigned orders to ensure our customers get the exact color they selected for their project. After tinting, verify the colors match, put the product back on the pallet, finish the paperwork (print out BOL) and wrap the pallets. Lastly, you will take it to the designated location where it is prepared for shipment to our customer.
