Job summary

Kosei St. Marys is seeking a skilled Paint Line Operator to safely run paint line equipment and support production, quality, and safety goals within a fast-paced facility.

The role requires basic math, reading, and writing, plus up to six months of paint experience. You will perform routine inspections, maintain 5S standards, and assist other operators while communicating safety and quality information to supervisors and shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months or more paint experience a plus.
• Reading, writing, and basic math skills; comprehend and follow procedures.
• Excellent safety, attendance, and above-average performance preferred.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills; initiative and basic leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate paint line equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain SPC charts, quality checks, downtime records, and daily booth checksheets.
• Inspect wheels visually to meet cosmetic standards.
• Perform daily/weekly paint booth 5S checks; assist other operators as needed.
• Input process recipes into PLC and communicate key safety/quality information across shifts.
• Load Pre-Treat as needed; perform quality tests and weekly PM duties.
