Wacker Neuson Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to improve plant reliability and lead preventive and predictive maintenance across the paint line and supporting equipment. The role emphasizes planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance projects to boost uptime and efficiency.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting diverse mechanical and electrical issues, using PLC ladder logic, and coordinating with contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing process improvements.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• U.S. Citizenship (Sponsorship will not be provided now or in the future).

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs for paint line systems.
• Ensure maximum uptime and reliability of paint application, pretreatment, curing, and material handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls-related issues.
• Understand PLC ladder logic and work with maintenance staff to resolve issues.
• Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective actions to eliminate recurring problems.
• Support equipment startups, shutdowns, modifications, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain equipment documentation, PM schedules, spare parts lists, and maintenance records.
• Plan and delegate maintenance assignments with supervision, including contractors.
• Coordinate resource planning (cost, labor, materials, equipment) to support maintenance projects.
• Assist with long-range planning and project development.
• Assist with contractor negotiations and coordinate on-site work.
