Job summary

AOC Metal Works is seeking a Paint Line Loader/Unloader to help keep the production line moving by loading metal parts onto the paint line and removing finished parts. No prior paint-line experience is required; we will train you to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will load parts, ensure correct placement, inspect for defects, and help prepare parts for painting while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications

• No prior paint-line experience required; training provided.

• Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load and hang metal parts onto the overhead paint-line conveyor.
• Position parts correctly for the paint process.
• Remove painted and finished parts from the conveyor.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and report concerns to your Supervisor.
• Keep the paint line supplied and moving at the required pace.
• Wear required PPE and follow safety procedures.

We're looking for dependable, hardworking team members to join our Paint Line

As a Paint Line Loader / Unloader, you'll help keep our production line moving by loading metal parts onto the paint line and removing finished parts as they come through the process. You'll work alongside a team to make sure parts move through the line efficiently and are ready for the next stage of production.

No previous paint-line experience is required. We'll teach you the job. We're looking for people who are reliable, safety-conscious, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Load and hang metal parts onto the overhead paint-line conveyor.
• Position parts correctly so they move through the paint process properly.
• Remove painted and finished parts from the conveyor.
• Inspect finished parts for visible defects or damage and report any concerns to your Supervisor.
• Carefully handle finished parts to prevent scratches, dents, or other damage.
• Keep the paint line supplied and moving at the required production pace.
• Help prepare parts for painting by performing tasks such as plugging holes, masking, or other basic preparation as needed.
• Stack, stage, or package finished parts according to production requirements.
• Keep your work area, racks, hooks, and equipment clean and organized.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work with your teammates and assist in other areas of the department when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on production position. You should be comfortable with:

• Standing and walking for most of an 8-hour shift.
• Frequently reaching overhead and outward to load and unload parts.
• Bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, turning, grasping, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Repetitive hand and arm movements.
• Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling materials and finished parts.
• Lifting and/or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Working safely around moving conveyors, machinery, racks, carts, and metal parts.

The Paint Line is located in an industrial manufacturing environment and the facility is not climate-controlled. Temperatures in the Paint Line area can become elevated due to the painting and curing processes.

You should be comfortable working in a hot manufacturing environment while wearing the required PPE. The work area may also have moderate to high noise levels and exposure to moving production equipment.
